Donnie Avery, WR Rams, is out for the season, that’s a shame since the Rams don’t have any weapons and a rookie QB. Stay away from them all, including Steven Jackson, he can’t run if the defense can just play the run.
Brett Favre is back, but, S. Rice is out for half the season, you didn’t draft too early did you? I told you guys not to do that. To make matters worse, Percey Harvin is having serious migrane issues which is one of those things that have no time frame and may never go away. It’s hard to say not to take Brett Favre, but I wouldn’t at this point. I would avoid both of those WRs also.
Adrian Peterson will benefit from this WR mess though, since they should use him even more. He is the #1 RB, not Chris Johnson in my opinion. We will see at the end of the season.
The Cardinals offense is horrible without Kurt Warner. Matt Leinart can’t seem to keep the starting job and although you can’t stay away from Larry Fitzgerald and Bennie Wells has looked pretty good, the rest of the team should be off your radar.
Aaron Rodgers is the #1 QB in fantasy football, it took me a while to accept that, but he has convinced me. This year, Tony Romo will be #2. Drew Brees #3, Payton Manning #4. I think it really drops off from there, including Tom Brady who I think is done as far as putting up the amazing fantasy numbers he used to put up every year. So, if you can’t get one of those guys, which you really should try and do since they are better than any RB or WR, then there is a big drop off till Brady, Favre, Schaub, Rivers and Kolb. There isn’t much difference between those guys and then you have the rest, of the rest, the biggest upside is Detroits Matthew Stafford, anyone else is going to make you wish you had taken one of the guys I mentioned.
